This post is a few days late, but m’eh. This week is “back to reality” week as my wife (love saying that!) and I return to work after a fantastic week off. I’ll try to replay the week in an orderly fashion…

I took Friday the 6th off from work as I needed to get errands done and the rehearsal was that night. Day was relaxing despite family coming into town, rehearsal, etc.

On Saturday, June 7th, I became a husband and, with coupon (wedding band) in hand, I got a complimentary wife! All kidding aside, the day was absolutely spectacular. We had a fantastic time sharing our day with everyone! There were a handful of times I found myself falling in love all over again. I got a bit choked up about 12 different times during the ceremony too.

The beginning of last week was spent at a great Bed and Breakfast near Naples, NY called the Vagabond Inn. I’ve never napped/slept so much in my life. We both needed the downtime and time to ourselves.

The latter part of the week included running a slew of errands. We were kinda tired by the end of the week, but in reality, we were able to get a lot of stuff done and not worry about it later when we may be working. I was also able to snag a Playstation 3 (Metal Gear Solid 4 Bundle) and GTA IV. Being a huge fan of the GTA series, I was happy to own the fourth installment.

The weekend was quiet as we prepared for reality come Monday. Sunday we headed out to Aladin’s and treated our parents and C’s brother, son and girlfriend (I’m officially and uncle..in-law!) to dinner.

So there you have it, the incredibly abridged version of our week. Posts may be infrequent going forward as my interest in this blog is in a lull.
