Web Development / Web Design

• Ruby on Rails
• The DOM. Navigating, using, manipulating, etc.
• AJAX in general. Basic priniples all the way to advanced techniques
• Learning more PHP wouldn’t hurt *shrug*
• CSS tricks, advanced usage and ways to circumvent browser compatibility issues
• Things to consider when creating a website
• Get/Have a better eye for design/color when creating a website
• Advanced DHTML, OOP with Javascript

Unix/Linux

• Basic/advanced scripting
• Become proficient with Make/Makefiles/Autoconf, etc
• Become more proficient with grep, cp, mv, find, and others
